So will the door come from upstairs and you’ll go down into your basement?? How’s that workin’?

I’ve never seen it either, it is super interesting. They are putting up the forms today and (in theory) pouring the walls tomorrow.
There is an upstairs door, and a basement door coming in from the outside in the existing house. There will be a door in the back wall of the existing basement, I guess they’re going to cut a hole in the cinder blocks.
Putting a door in from the outside was going to be tricky, as it would be at the highest point of the house, and it rains a lot, and the rain would have run down the stairs into the basement.
